Another year locked up. Another year of missed moments with her young daughter.
British-Iranian mother Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe was recently sentenced to another year in prison in Iran, after having already served an unfair five-year sentence.
We’ve been working closely with Nazanin’s husband Richard to fight for her release since she was imprisoned on trumped-up charges in 2016.
Just after she was sentenced, Nazanin’s daughter Gabriele celebrated her seventh birthday. Richard told us “It’s the sixth birthday in a row where she’s been separated from Nazanin. We’ve all been left hanging for too long.”
