Amnesty Summary Report for 2013 Human Rights Campaign:
For
two weeks around December 10, 2013 (International Human Rights Day),
hundreds of thousands of people in 143 countries took ~ 2,373,422
actions to raise their concerns for human rights abuses of many
Prisoners of Conscious (POC). These global actions led to RELEASE of 3
POC: Yorm Bopha (Cambodian housing rights activist), Vladimir Akimenkov (Russian peaceful protester) and Jabeur Mejri (Tunisian blogger). Thank you for writing letters, exerting pressure on authorities and helping to improve lives of many POC worldwide.
