End physical harm of women in Iran due to their improper "hejab" - ONLINE PETITION

"For the last 35 years, women in Iran have been under severe oppression and abuse for the way they dress publicly. Recently, several women in Isfahan, Iran have been significantly disfigured by having acid thrown at their faces, for wearing improper Islamic garb or "hejab". This petition calls on Islamic Republic officials to end these acts of aggression against women, and the rhetoric which promotes such violence." Click here for ONLINE PETITION by Afshin Nariman.

NOTE: Amnesty International has not taken a position on the Acid Attacks in Iran and has not sponsored a petition or urgent action on the behalf of these women. We hope that they will do so soon.
