India Justice for Bhopal Survivors - 30 Years is Too Long to Wait Deadline: ASAP
Nearly
30 years ago, on 3 December 1984, toxic gas leaked from the Union
Carbide India Limited factory in Bhopal, India. As many as 10,000 people
died in 3 days - 1000s more have died since. Union
Carbide Corporation - majority owner of UCIL - has never appeared in
Indian courts to answer charges, including "culpable homicide not
amounting to murder". UCC's parent company Dow Chemical has done nothing
to ensure UCC respects India's justice system. Click here to demand Dow comply with criminal court order on Bhopal tragedy.
