"This May, certain Members of Congress will attempt to ensure that the prison at Guantanamo Bay remains open forever. Those Members are attempting to include in the FY 2016 National Defense Authorization Act provisions that would further restrict, or even completely ban transferring detainees out of Guantanamo. Please write to your Members of Congress now and tell them that you would like them to vote to close Guantanamo. We have prepared text that you can customize and send."

"Hello, I'm calling about the debate over the National Defense Authorization Act.  I would like my Member of Congress to vote for the Smith/Nadler amendment that provides a framework for closing Guantanamo and to vote against the Walorski amendment that is a transparent attempt to keep Guantanamo open forever.  If the Smith/Nadler amendment is not adopted, I would also like the Representative to vote against final passage of the National Defense Authorization Act.  Thank you."
