Amnesty International Madison Group #139 Weekly Update - February 20, 2015

Greetings Everyone!

When I was interested in a particular cause or organization, my father would always tell me to "follow the money." What is the mission? What do they actually do? And, finally, how do they spend their money? Amnesty International Madison Group #139 is a small, passionate, all-volunteer, nonprofit organization committed to promoting human rights. We write letters. We sign petitions. We speak out. We march. We post on social media. We take photo actions. We wear t-shirts. We make phone calls. We even dance on occasion (One Billion Rising events). We are committed to making a difference in our world. As a member of our organization, please take time to look at our 2014 financial statement and our projected 2015 budget. Click here to see the entire report. If you have any questions, please send an email to group139@aiusa.org. We hope that you feel that we have been responsible with your contributions. Thank you so much for your support. -Debbie, AI Madison Group #139 Treasurer
Please join me to welcome 4 new members who joined us since January 2015: Mr. Philip Jean-remy, Ms. Oma Cox, Ms. Fatou Cessay, and Mr. Tyson Elliott. We look forward to their active participation as members of our Group, AI-139. -Azam Niroomand-Rad, Group Coordinator
     Have a wonderful week!
