#AmnestyLobby: Who’s spying on you? - Spring Lobby Weeks (March 21-April 8).

Amnesty International USA

The Geolocational Privacy and Surveillance Act (GPS Act) would limit police access to data generated by your phone, laptop and GPS navigation units. This bipartisan bill would require police to get a “probable cause” warrant to request this information from a private company. It would also require warrants when law enforcement agencies want to monitor movements directly, using a tracking device. Join us this fall in urging Congress to pass the GPS Act, and help limit police access to your personal data.

Sign up today for Amnesty International USA’s Spring Lobby Weeks (March 21-April 8). You don’t need to travel to Washington, D.C. to send a strong message to your Members of Congress to co-sponsor the Geolocational Privacy and Surveillance Act.  You can make your voice heard through contacting the local district office of your U.S. House Representative and your U.S. Senators in your home state.  In addition to the GPS Act, Amnesty activists will be urging Members of Congress to oppose anti-refugee bills and to commit to supporting future funding for refugees.
