The crisis in Syria has been ongoing since peaceful protests escalated in March 2011 and it is now about to enter its sixth year.The next few weeks are critical for Syria. World leaders will need to pull out all the stops to deliver a successful peace process.Civilians pay the highest price as the Syrian government and non-state armed groups commit war crimes and crimes against humanity.
