Greetings Everyone!
I was thinking how easy it is to become discouraged when reading the
news and listening to stories about human rights injustices. Then, I
read this Facebook post from Amnesty International Europe and it gave me
a renewed sense of purpose. Is it hard to be a witness to executions?
Yes. But, we can "shed a light" and make a difference.

The candle reflects our founder, Peter Benenson’s hope that our work would shine a light in the darkest of places where #humanrights abuses go unpunished."

We have received some questions about writing URGENT ACTIONS. I've
started a blog topic on Open Forum for members to share their practical
tips and suggestions. Please share your advice with us. Here's one
response: "There are several ways to mail letters from the U.S. to other
countries.
I personally use Global Forever stamps. You can purchase them at your
post office or order them online. They are $1.10 each and come in groups
of 20."
