Burkina Faso: Women denied the right to decide if and when they have children- ONLINE PETITION

Amnesty International UK

For girls in Burkina Faso, chances are childhood won't last long. Forced early marriage is common, as is early pregnancy. Barriers to accessing sexual health information and services mean that girls and women often have no control over if or when they will get pregnant. And in some cases, they need their husband's permission to use contraception. Next month Burkina Faso will have its first democratic election in 27 years. Call on the new government to improve access to sexual health information and services.
