Amnesty International USA
This
November the United States will hold elections to elect the 45th
president of the United States and the 115th Congress. Amnesty
International does not take a position on which candidate should be the
next President, but we do believe that the next U.S. President must
protect and advance human rights here at home and around the world. To
that end, Amnesty International USA has developed a tool kit to help our
members raise key human rights issues with candidates running for
office.
The Human Rights and the 2016 Elections
toolkit provides human rights activists with background information and
action ideas while also providing guidance for what AIUSA members and
staff can and cannot do under current tax laws.
I hope you'll join Michael O’Reilly and myself for this important opportunity.
