On August 24, 2016, twelve death row prisoners were reportedly taken to solitary confinement from various wards of Rajai Shahr Prison to be executed. Among them is Alireza Madadpur, a young man who was at the wrong place at the wrong time and had the bad luck of being tried by Judge Farajollahi at Branch 4 of the Revolutionary Court of Karaj.
