United for Iran
This week, an Iranian court upheld charges against human rights activist Narges Mohammadi and
confirmed an absurd 16-year sentence against her. There is NO evidence
that Narges’ conviction is for anything other than her peaceful, lawful
activism including her membership in an anti-death penalty organization.
Narges
is a mother of 9-year old twins. She was forced to go on a hunger
strike for a month before prison authorities allowed her to talk to her
children.
