Madison, WI: DACA and Immigration Rights Meetings - Dec 8 and the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month!

Here are two VERY IMPORTANT opportunities to learn about immigration rights and possible options if someone is without papers. DACA stands for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

Jewish Social Services Session:
This is an informational meeting addressing (1) DACA, (2) knowing your immigration rights, and (3) what might happen in the future after the election.

Walk-in Clinic:
Also, the Community Immigration Law Center (CILC) provides a free walk-in immigration clinic every 2nd and 4th Friday afternoon, 2-5:00, at Christ Presbyterian Church.  Each person sees a lawyer and leaves knowing what to do next, and with a list of attorneys and other places to go for likely free or reduced fee legal help.
