Prisoner of conscience Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja, one of the 13
jailed prominent opposition activists, ended his hunger strike on 23
September.
Prisoner of conscience Abdulhadi Al-Khawaja, a
dual Bahraini-Danish national, ended his hunger strike on 23 September,
after 30 days. His family visited him in prison on 6 October and said
that he had gained three kilos and his blood pressure was a bit low but
doctors had told him this would go back to normal after he put on more
weight.
