On October 8, 2014 Amnesty International Madison Group #139 Coordinator, Azam Niroomand-Rad, PhD, presented " The History of Human Rights" to the Global Affairs program in Madison, Wisconsin. She traced the evolving definition of human rights from the Zoroaster to Peter Benenson (founder of Amnesty International).
