Facebook Action: Share this picture in Remembrance of the Sandy Hook Victims - WAVE

Sunday marks two years since 20 innocent children and 6 hero-educators were brutally gunned down at Sandy Hook Elementary, and Congress has still failed to lift a finger to protect our children. So today, families of those lost in Newtown walked through the halls of Congress, door by door, to demand action. Their message is clear -- moments of silence are meaningful, but they’re not enough. That’s why the families of the Newtown Action Alliance are asking you, me and anyone looking for a way to support Newtown not only to show our solidarity today, but also to show our willingness to stand up and act every day until our broken gun laws get fixed. Stand up for Newtown and all victims of gun violence on this national day of action by sharing this image on Facebook.

Note: WAVE (Wisconsin Anti-Violent Effort) is not an Amnesty International group but advocates for reducing gun violence, injuries and deaths. Thank you to one of our members submitted this post.
