"Your support is the backbone of our efforts mobilizing people around the world to take action and speak out against human rights abuses."
So far, as a result of the 2014 #Write4Rights campaign (1) the Indian government has agreed to increase a multi-million dollar compensation claim against Union Carbide over the catastrophic 1984 gas leak from the company's Bhopal pesticide plant and (2) support of more than half of the members of Chicago's City Council for passage of the Reparations Ordinance for Chicago Police Torture Survivors.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to human rights.
