Amnesty International: Take action on Iranian juvenile offender facing execution - WRITE FOR RIGHTS

Dear Friends:

Please take part in Amnesty International's Write4Rights, which takes place in the days around Human Rights Day which is tomorrow December 10. This year there are twelve cases and one of them is Saman Naseem, a Kurdish-Iranian man who was sentenced to death for an incident that took place when he was seventeen. Please read more about him at: http://write.amnestyusa.org/case/saman/

We would like to get thousands of people to send messages urging the Iranian government to set aside the death penalty for him and for him to be given a fair trial. Iran executes more people than any country other than China, and is also one of the very few countries in the world that still executes juveniles. Please see my piece in the Huffington Post about the problem of juvenile executions in Iran:

Thank you for marking Human Rights Day with an important message to the Iranian government.

Best wishes,
