Amnesty International Toolkit
Note: I stated that all travel and accommodation would be covered for participants that apply and are accepted for the training of trainers for SRR Advocates. Unfortunately, travel to and from Miami will not be covered. Hotel accommodation for Thursday night and Friday night can be covered, and meals will be provided during the training on Friday.
Dear Amnesty Supporter,
Happy
2016! We want to share the latest My Body, My Rights (MBMR) activist
toolkit with you and let you know about an exciting training opportunity
with the Identity and Discrimination Unit (ID Unit) during AIUSA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in April.
The Spring 2016 Activist toolkit for
the MBMR Campaign is ready for your energy and activism! The toolkit
includes information, resources, and actions on sexual and reproductive
rights in Ireland, Burkina Faso, Tunisia, and the United States.

There’s
also a brand new opportunity to become a Sexual and Reproductive Rights
(SRR) Advocate Trainer! The ID Unit will be facilitating a half-day
training of trainers during the AGM, whereby activists will be trained
on facilitating SRR human rights education workshops in their own
communities. We can only take a limited number of activists per region,
so you must apply for the role. Please find attached the role description and application, which is due February 12th.Note: I stated that all travel and accommodation would be covered for participants that apply and are accepted for the training of trainers for SRR Advocates. Unfortunately, travel to and from Miami will not be covered. Hotel accommodation for Thursday night and Friday night can be covered, and meals will be provided during the training on Friday.
I
sincerely apologize for the incorrect information. I hope this does not
deter you from applying, and please feel free to reach out if you have
any questions.
We look forward to working with you to defend sexual and reproductive rights around the world and in your communities!
In Solidarity,
Kaitlyn Denzler
