Tunisia: University students tortured and imprisoned for ‘sodomy’ - ACTION EMAIL

Amnesty International UK

Six university students in Tunisia are fearing for their lives after being sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for 'sodomy'. They were tortured while in custody – each of them forced to endure an intrusive anal examination. Now out on bail they’ve been receiving threats and are scared to go outside. They are in grave danger. This discrimination must end now. Demand that the Tunisian authorities free the six and scrap the law criminalizing same-sex relations.
