There is a new Academy Award-nominated film by Joshua Oppenheimer called The Look of Silence about the Indonesian killings of 1965–66.An optician confronts the men who killed the brother that he never knew during the 1960s Indonesian genocide.
It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature at the 88th Academy Awards.
