Increasingly, we hear politicians and other public figures across the Caribbean promoting a new and more tolerant attitude towards sexual diversity and identity in the region.
According to local media, Barbados' Education Minister was recently denouncing the hypocrisy of society with regards to sexual orientation and called on "accept[ing] the fact that gay relationships were now part of our culture."
