Banned Book Week is September 21-27, 2014. "Banned Books don't only happen in the United States but it is,
unfortunately a worldwide phenomena. The reason for banning books are
complex but there is one common element, the aim to silence speech at
any cost. Writers around the world have been arrested, exiled or
murdered for their writing and their books banned or destroyed by
