UN OCHA: How would you respond to impossible choices? (2:50 MIN)

     Every day we all have choices to make. Occasionally these choices may be difficult, but they do not compare to the impossible choices faced by the 125 million people experiencing the biggest humanitarian crisis since World War 2. Our ‘Impossible Choices’ film cleverly contrasts the simple choices most of us face with those confronting life and death situations.

     We filmed eight digitally engaged millennials and confronted them with a series of escalating dilemmas from the humorous to the difficult to the downright impossible choices some of their unfortunate peers in other parts of the world are faced with right now. The candid and emotional reactions of our participants served as a wake-up call as they faced the dawning realization that this wasn’t a theoretical exercise but a true reflection of the impossible choices facing people just like them.
