Four days ago, Indonesian authorities moved three death row
prisoners to the Nusakambangan prison island where 13 executions were carried
out last year. The exact date of the executions hasn’t been confirmed but the
Attorney General of Indonesia said that only 72-hours notice would be given. Prison
officials have prepared the execution grounds and the firing squads are now
ready. Join our call on President Widodo urging him to
put a stop to the executions, and to work towards ending the death penalty for
good.
