Narges Mohammadi, a distinguished human rights defender in Iran has suffered for years at the hands of Iranian authorities who continue to punish her for peaceful activism. The most recent court decision in April sees Narges sentenced to 16 years in prison for her human rights work. This mother of two should be home with her young twins, not languishing in hardened prisons. Act now to demand her immediate release. To make matters worse, prison officers continue to deny Narges the urgent medical attention she desperately needs.
