Queensland is the only state where 17-year-olds are sent to adult prisons. But thanks to the support of people like you, this will soon be a thing of the past. Last week, the QLD Government announced that kids will be transitioned out of adult prisons over the next 12 months. This is especially good news for Indigenous kids, who too often, are caught in a cycle of disadvantage. There are smarter ways to help kids; locking them up is not one of them.
