According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Zhila Shahryari who had been arrested by security forces in Tehran on August 10, was transferred to women’s ward of Evin prison on August 31.
A close source to the Bahai citizen announcing the news, told HRANA’s reporter: “Zhila Shahryari was held in ward 209 of Evin prison since the time of arrest and during this period she was only once allowed to contact her family.”
It is worth noting, Zhila Shahryari is wife of Mahvash Shahryari’s brother, imprisoned Baha’i citizen in the women’s ward of Evin prison.
The charges of Ms. Shahryari are still not known.
