Today the United Nations hosted a summit to address large movements of refugees and migrants, and tomorrow President Obama will bring key allies together to try and secure firm commitments from them on refugees. Sadly, it's nowhere near enough -- and that's why we need you.
Right now Congress is considering budget cuts that would drastically reduce funding for refugees and turn our country's back on 110,000 refugees that the U.S. government has already pledged to welcome. We need you to make sure this doesn't happen. If the United States does not set the right example and honor its own commitments, there is a very real danger that no other country will, either.
