International Health&Epidemiology Research Center-IHERC- is the creator, and The Organizer of the "Peace Day" events. IHERC spearheads Peace Days annually and often several times a year with different groups, schools, and faith communities. Some schools in other countries, such as Russia, Iran, Brazil, and Sweden, are replicating this important activity.
After learning about the hazards of real and toy guns, children turn in their toy guns and violent video games and receive a peace certificate. Afterwards, they use the confiscated items to create an art project.
