What's the America you believe in? - WEBINAR July 13, 2016

Amnesty International USA
Amnesty International USA just launched the "America I Believe In" toolkit and campaign. These tools will empower human rights activists to speak out amidst a climate of rising fear, hate, and bigotry.
We've seen public figures, media, local communities, and even friends and family give in to fear-mongering by engaging in anti-Muslism rhetoric, refugee-bashing, or suggestions that torture and war crimes may be acceptable ways to respond to terrorism.

We all share the legitimate need for security, but these false solutions don't belong in the America that we believe in.

Join us at 9 p.m. EST on July 13 for a webinar training on how to work with AIUSA and other organizations to build the America you believe in. RSVP today.

This webinar will train you to organize statements of solidarity to push back against fear, hate, and bigotry in your communities and on a national level. I hope you'll join us for this important opportunity.

It is essential that we come together to promote an alternative vision based on facts and human rights, not fear and hate.

Join me at the webinar,

Naureen Shah
