Two
young Australians -- Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran -- along with a
group of others face imminent execution in Indonesia on Wednesday 29
April.
More than 200 people gathered at Sydney's Blues Point Reserve on Monday 27 April to voice their opposition to the death penalty and call for mercy for those on death row in Indonesia.
In less than 24 hours, the Australian public purchased 15,000 flowers to adorn giant letters spelling out #KeepHopeAlive. The installation, covered in multi-coloured flowers and candles, showed that even in dark times, our voices and actions can be incredibly powerful.
