On
Mar. 20-22, 2015, Amnesty International USA held its Annual General
Meeting in New York. As part of the conference, a workshop was held on Mar. 21 entitled "Your
Activism Saved My Life: Former Prisoners of Conscience Share Their
Stories of Hope." Two of the speakers were the Sri Lankan journalist
and former prisoner of conscience J.S. Tissainayagam and his wife
Ronnate Asirwatham. The 94-minute workshop was recorded. A video of
