Many of us have friends and colleagues who have been affected by the weekend disaster in Nepal. Thankfully many of our UW students, faculty and friends, have reported their whereabouts and are safe. However, the growing number of victims shows that great tragedy has struck too many.
The local Madison organization NAFA (Nepali American Friendship Association) has shared with us their response (see letter attached), and invited us to attend the upcoming candle light vigil this Wednesday at 7 pm at the Capitol (at the corner of State Street).
