| Roles and Responsibilities |
| The
Nominating Committee presents to the AIUSA Board recommended slates for
Board elections, for AIUSA’s delegation to the International Council Meeting,
and for the next Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee also oversees
elections of the Board officers. Members of the Nominating Committee must be prepared to devote a significant amount of time to interviewing Board candidates and follow up on references during the summer and early fall. Qualities required include strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written; the ability to work independently and as part of a team; and good knowledge and appreciation of Amnesty’s culture. |
