We
have so many petitions, urgent actions, news items, videos, and events
this week! Whew! To get you in the mood for the GOOD NEWS and the

This
week we received a question about our Urgent Actions. Amnesty
International researches each case and sends us alerts almost daily. The
Action includes background information, may include updated
information, sometimes includes a deadline, and also includes contact
information. We write letters on behalf of that person or persons. We
average around ten a week. Guidelines for writing Urgent Actions can be
