Milwaukee, WI USA: Vigil for Gambia - RALLY April 24 at 4:00pm

 Marie Njai-Daniels

I am writing to solicit your help mobilizing for a protest against the human rights crisis in Gambia. On Thursday 4/14/16 there was a peaceful protest by opposition leaders of the current regime that ended in an attack by armed forces. Three people are confirmed killed one of which included a naturalized US citizen. Countless others were beaten and arrested and are still in custody, since then people are being hunted and arrested at home, on their jobs, etc. We are appealing to your chapter to stand with us as we speak for the lives that were taken and stand against this oppression and human rights violations that have spanned 22 years. The protest for the release of prisoners and for international help to end the regime of a dictator will be on Sunday April 24th, 2016 at the Federal Courthouse 517 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53202. Your assistance is greatly appreciated and I look forward to talking to you soon.
